A feasibility study has been submitted to the DRAC, the regional directorate for cultural affairs, as part of a preliminary consultation on a project to restore the first floor of the dungeon.

This study was carried out by the Belgian architect Etienne WARNY, who acts as an advisor to the association "Les Amis du Château de Pieusse"

The use of a room on the first floor, accessible to the public, could become a reality by considering work limited mainly to the floor of this level. The space on the first floor of the tower has a surface area of 45 m2 allowing for 35 seats and a small stage for a speaker or musicians. The space offers a beautiful window (old hayloft door) with a view overlooking the garden as well as a second small window where old graffiti are present.

It is this space which would constitute the first restoration intervention of the castle.

It allows it to be opened to the public.
